We can guarantee a day but not a specific time. However, if you contact us on the day of your cleaning service, we will be glad to estimate the time our team will arrive. If you need a specific time guarantee, feel free to get in touch with us and we will do our best to reach a mutually agreeable solution.

MCM Cleaning asks that you pick up clothing, toys and other household items prior to a visit from our housekeeping teams. Try to remove any cosmetics from the bathroom vanity, and remove food/dishes from the kitchen counter. We only ask this so that we can do a better job cleaning, scrubbing, and sanitizing.

Do I need to supply cleaning supplies and equipment?2021-06-16T18:01:22+00:00

MCM Cleaning Services is  fully equipped with top-quality products and commercial vacuums to clean your home. However, if you have preferred products, you may request that we use them in cleaning your home.

Do I need to be home during the cleaning?2021-06-16T18:01:47+00:00

You are certainly welcome to be present during the cleaning if that makes you most comfortable! Many of our clients give us a key, passcode, or access to a security lockbox located outside of their home. Any key given to us by a client to keep on file is individually coded and protected in MCM Cleaning’s offices. If we are unable to gain access to the property for a scheduled cleaning, there is a $50 cancellation fee.

We love your pets but they do not know us yet, therefore for our safety and your pets safety we ask that you please kennel them or put them in a room we won’t be cleaning.

How and when do I pay for cleaning services?2021-06-16T18:01:56+00:00

We accept cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, or CashApp, and payment is due at time of service. A $25 fee will be assessed for all returned checks.

We do not require tips, but it is a powerful way to say thank you to your cleaning team. Remember, your appreciation need not be monetary. A personal note from you expressing your appreciation for their service can mean a great deal.

Why are your prices higher than some of the other companies or individuals I’ve contacted?2021-06-16T18:00:50+00:00

Our pricing is designed to ensure you get your money’s worth, while also paying our employees a fair wage. Our team members are professional, licensed, and bonded, and we believe in treating our employees fairly because they become family. This ensures we know the team members assigned to your property extremely well, allowing us to double down on our satisfaction guarantee.

We also carry general liability insurance to protect your home and possessions from any accidents as well as worker’s compensation insurance to protect our employees should they suffer an injury on the job. Many other companies and individuals who clean homes unlicensed can charge cheaper rates, but you take the risk of property damage and theft.

All scheduled cleanings  are confirmed no later than 48 hours prior to the scheduled cleaning. For recurring service customers, dates are confirmed several weeks in advance.

What about holidays or changing a scheduled cleaning visit?2021-06-16T18:00:56+00:00

If your scheduled cleaning falls on a major holiday, we will contact you to reschedule your service. If you need to change a scheduled cleaning visit we appreciate a 24-hour notice. When short notice is given, we may need to charge a fee if the team cannot be reassigned.

You are the most important part of our business. If you are not 100% satisfied with your cleaning service, please call us IMMEDIATELY! We stand behind our work with a 24-hour guarantee. If you’re not completely satisfied, simply contact us within 24 hours to arrange for us to come back and re-clean the specific areas that did not meet your expectations.

There is a $50 cancellation fee for all confirmed cleanings that are canceled with less than two business days’ notice. Weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly clients will not be charged for the first cancellation each year.

What if something gets broken or damaged during cleaning?2021-06-16T18:01:29+00:00

We are committed to treating your property and all your possessions with respect and care. If an item is broken or damaged during cleaning, we will leave a note with the item to let you know. We will also work with you to find a suitable resolution.

Is there anything you won’t do? 2021-06-16T18:01:41+00:00

Our team members are not responsible for washing and folding laundry or washing dishes. Additionally, we are committed to creating a safe work environment. Therefore, we do not use ladders more than two steps high or move anything heavier than 35 pounds as these types of activities can put our team members at risk of injuries. 

If you would like us to clean behind appliances like a refrigerator, oven or sofa, please move it prior to the cleaning to allow access to the desired area.

COVID-19 Update

While we are still learning more about SARS-CoV 2, it is currently not believed to be transmitted through the HVAC systems. If you believe that your HVAC system needs to be disinfected, contact an HVAC professional who is well-versed in the cleaning rules and regulations on HVAC systems.
